Nagashima Onsen Yuami no Shima
長島温泉 湯あみの島
One of Japan's largest day-spa complexes, sharing a resort with Nagashima Spa Land and Nabana no Sato. Roughly 33,000 m² of open-air baths landscaped after the Oirase stream and Kurobe gorge, with 17 natural-spring baths for men and women plus six rock-bath rooms. A 50-minute direct bus from Nagoya's Meitetsu Bus Center makes it popular with families and overseas visitors combining it with the amusement park or outlet mall. Admission ¥2,100; open until 23:00 on weekends.

Aqua Ignis Kataoka Onsen
Seven minutes from Yunoyama-Onsen Station at the foot of Mt. Gozaisho, the bath inside the 'healing and food' resort Aqua Ignis. Free-flowing alkaline water in a bamboo-view rotenburo, lie-down bath and cypress barrel tubs. Luxurious in feel yet only ¥600 weekdays / ¥800 weekends, open 6 am to midnight. Patisserie, Italian restaurant and strawberry picking on site.
Yumoto Sakakibarakan — Yu-no-sho Day Spa
Sakakibara Onsen was praised in the 11th-century Pillow Book as one of Japan's three finest baths. Tucked in the hills of Tsu, it flourished as a purification stop for pilgrims to Ise Shrine and is known as a 'beauty bath'. The day-use wing of this old ryokan lets you feel the silky pH 9.6 house spring unheated in the dedicated 'gensen' tub. ¥1,000 (face towel included, 2-hour limit). Shuttle from Sakakibara-Onsenguchi Station.
Ise Funae Onsen Mitasu-no-yu
Ise city's only full-scale super-sentō, attached to the Mitasu Ise shopping centre five minutes by car from the Outer Shrine. Funae Onsen water pumped from below fills the open-air stone and rock baths, joined by a high-concentration carbonated bath, jet baths and a tower sauna — eleven baths in all. Open 9:00–23:00 (last entry 22:30); ¥800 weekdays, ¥900 weekends and holidays, with towel-rental packages so you can drop in empty-handed between shrine visits. The Hyōtan-tei restaurant serves local dishes like Ise udon and tekone-zushi. About 20 minutes on foot from Iseshi Station, or right at the Mitasu Ise Kita bus stop (Mie Kōtsū).
