Prices, hours, closing days and tattoo policies are cross-checked against official facility sites, municipal and tourist-association pages and major travel databases. Each page shows when and from what kind of source it was verified.
Update cycle
The 30 most popular onsen towns are re-checked first, and facilities confirmed closed or no longer offering day bathing are removed. Other listings are updated in turn.
Limitations
Price changes, temporary closures and seasonal schedules are not reflected in real time. For mountain facilities in winter and small community baths, we recommend phoning ahead.

Facility images are AI-generated impressions of the atmosphere, not photographs. Please see the official site for the real thing.
